Using commercial music
In the book and on the website there are several suggestions for suitable background and introductory music. The use of pre-recorded music, other than as part of worship services, needs an appropriate license. Some artists and publishers allow their music to be used for public performances, especially for non- commercial use. Others require, in the UK, a Performing Rights Society licence or a specific licence from the rights holder, even for non-commercial use. CCLI, the provider of the church copyright scheme, act as agents for a PRS license for churches.
